Who is Marie? She is Marie Luthringer, an engaging woman who has the amazingly flexible human instrument of a beautiful voice that can switch from warm, vibrant and serious into a gaggle of gremlins all talking at once. Her vocal versatility in voiceovers is amazing.

While her voice is now her profession, Marie spent many years donating her unusual talents to support what she believes in. From a stint on a Christian radio show—in which she played a young boy—she graduated to being a deejay at a southern New Jersey radio station before honing her speech and drama skills at Ocean County College. After deciding that doing voiceovers was her passion, she undertook months of training with industry experts, including Creative Voice Development Group.

Marie is an active member of Morning Star Presbyterian Church in Ocean County, New Jersey where she served on the Session—the governing body of the church—as well as the welcoming committee and acting team. In addition, she is a frequent soloist with the music ministry.

Recently Marie was one of a 10-party delegation from the Monmouth presbytery on a friendship trip to Cuba. She is also a board member for the National Alliance for Mental Illness, tireless in taking the organization’s message public—both as a frequent public speaker and as editor of NAMI’S newsletter. In addition, she has worked with the Juvenile Conference Committee to help young offenders who have temporarily lost their way.

As a marketing and public-relations volunteer at the Tuckerton Seaport Museum, Marie has performed similar services and designed brochures for publicity kits. Her stick-to-itiveness earned her the Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where she majored in communications.

Marie’s background and prodigious talent are the foundation for her chosen career in voiceovers.
